NEON

For those of you that love to be cheeky with a POP of color we saw many designers that weren’t afraid to be bold and bright. Whether it was solid neon, multicolored, polka dotted or texturized with satin and lace; the options were endless. We happened to fall in love with the Dessous full coverage bra by Claudette. Everything from the shape to the colors was so feminine and eye catching. We was thrilled to find out their sizes were made not only smaller busts but up to a size G cup. G cup you ask?? Yes!! Shocking right?? This has been a constant struggle for busty women to find sexy and playful bras like these that come in their size. Claudette’s collection did all that and more.
GEOMETRICS

Being huge fans of 20s fashion and the “Great Gatsby” we loved seeing all the lingerie with geometric detailing that was very Art Deco inspired. Triumph had an amazing, beautiful black high-waist panty and bra set with sheer cutouts in all the right places, yet still leaving some to the imagination. This is flattering for all shapes and sizes whether you are trying to camouflage or play up your waistline. We wanted to take this right off the mannequin and put it on.
Nomi and I noticed a few designers that were making bras with a long line where the bra length was longer than the standard bra and hit just at the top of the ribs such as these two pictured above by Ana Grant and Claudette.
Natori had a collection of lace underwire long line bras that came in many different colors as well as the classic black white and nude. These bra’s screamed music festival season to us. Bra’s that are very light weight, comfortable and playful and it can peak out the sides of tank tops and flowy shirts.
OUTERWEAR
Can lingerie also be worn as outwear? If done tastefully, absolutely! Why not own items that you can get more than just one use out of it. The trick is to not be over the top from head to toe. For example we love having a sexy lace or solid color bra peak through a chiffon or lace top. Jane Woolrich had these to die for corsets that we wanted so badly to wear out with a leather pencil skirt.
One item that Nomi and I kept raving over was Love Haus’s black wife beater tank with attached garters. Tell me what man would not love to strip you out of a pair of simple blue jeans and tank only to find that the tank is lingerie. The perfect combo of comfort meets sexy.
METALLIC
As women, I don’t think we ever grew out of loving things that sparkle. Things with glitz and glam definitely seem to catch our attention. We saw many lingerie collections that had metallic pieces of all colors like gold, silver, green purple, blue and many others. We were in love with Cosabella’s metallic line. This collection was so ethereal and reminded us of mermaids. We very surprised at how soft, stretchy and itch free the material was. Sunday Intimates, a brand exclusively for larger busts, had a beautiful gold bra and panty set that screamed pin-up yet modern. It is so hard for women with larger chest to find bras of that size that are day-to-day wear.
OMBRE
Not only has ombre been a huge trend for hairstyle – it’s now making a debut in lingerie. We have to say it was really a love at first sight with Cosabella’s ombre set. We are suckers for gradual color change and have never seen it done so well on lingerie before. We would love to get one of these our closets for summer. We have a feeling these are going to be a huge hit!
